- What is Seamless Polyurethane Foam?
-
Polyurethane Foam is a combination of two liquid components which react in a matter of seconds, can be walked on in a matter of minutes, and cures to a rigid closed cell plastic. Polyurethane Foam can be sprayed in various thicknesses to accomplish insulation efficiencies of desired R-factors or, in roofing application, used and applied in various thickness to create positive drainage and eliminate ponding water. At the same time Polyurethane Foam creates a light-weight, monolithic, waterproof insulation blanket over and around the structure. These easy-to-install, state of the art roofing systems lead the industry movement to lightweight, energy-efficient roofs.
- Superior Insulating
Efficiency
Sprayed polyurethane foam, which is self-flashing, eliminates time intensive and critical details of typical roofing and insulation projects. - Seamless
Sprayed-in-place polyurethane foam when cured is monolithic in form. It can be applied directly to most substrates and will conform to any configuration. It is self-flashing and seamless. - Fully Adhered
Inherent adhesion replaces the need for adhesives or numerous mechanical fasteners which may penetrate the substrate and also decrease insulation efficiency. - Thermal Shock Resistance
By placing the insulation on the weather side, sprayed polyurethane foam reduces thermal shock and movement in decks, built-up and metal roof assemblies. - Ease of Maintenance
Damaged spray polyurethane foam can typically be repaired by in-house personnel using no more than simple hand tools and readily available sealants and/or caulks. - Proven Performance
Seamless polyurethane foam has been sealing and insulating roofs, walls, and tanks for over 25 years. - To learn about the Application Steps of Spray Polyurethane Foam, Go here
